I would like more information on the personalities of this election. What they stand for and what makes them tick. I thought David Ramli's article on Tanya Plibersek was particularly good as it remained objective the whole way through. However, I was a little dissapointed with Wayne Swan's interview because it didn't really challenge him on any of the key key issues and I don't particularly care about the fact that Wayne Swan's daughter plays in a band. Well done David, others writers on this website need to follow your example. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about Kevin Rudd.

I'd like more information about how our political system actually works- I keep talking to people who have no idea about preferential voting, for example. And the function of the Senate.

Define what each  government level is responsible for.  Im sick of hearing people complaining about the state of the train systems or roads or hospitals or crime or schools etc and will vote out howard because of it.  It is getting pretty obvious that alot of people, especially young  adults dont know who is responsible for what.
